Do you think it was in the script for JJ to put his hand on Popes to comfort him when they thought they got the cross back off the train but it was just a decoy in season 3 why do I feel like Rudy improvised it for the JJ pope shippers and to spite jiara shippers 🙄

I’m not sure, but JJ has always been super touchy with both the boys and JJ and Pope have an adorable friendship so I don’t think it’s anything to be annoyed about. It’s not even that noticeable.

Rudy being weird annoys me as much as the next person but that was literally so in character for jj the only time jd and Rudy (+ editors who put it in) was the hot tub from s2 💀 *the only time they annoyed me I mean ask

Whenever I hear “part of your world reprise II” from the new little mermaid movie, it makes me think of kiara. Especially when they return back to drop her off at her house after the island/singhs. She risked so much for her friends and to live like a pogue, just to fall back to where she started. At her parents, under their rules and criticism of who she is, in kookville, etc. “Back to before you took my hand” - reminds me of before her and JJ got closer, had their moment on the boat, before the whole treasure hunt. “Where do I go with No where to turn to” - gives me Kitty Hawk vibes. I sooo love the addition of that reprise in the new movie!!!

This brings me back to one of the more important questions: why is there no Jiara little mermaid AU? JJ could just be a cute little sailor or a pirate instead of a prince.

I think I actually wanted to write it at one point but to be honest I don’t really like writing nace fics (I LOVE them but i think they just don’t push my personal writing buttons the way some other ships do/I don’t feel super comfy writing them). Agreed! I’ve been waiting for this since S1. We got little crumbs of it in S2, but I REALLY want more, especially after hard Kie was riding for them in S3. Still pushing my reverse hot tub hug agenda and I always will!
